Name: Murdoc J. Niccals Age: 17 (a very mature 17...rowr) Height: 5'7" Weight: 175lbs Likes: Music (metal, punk, dub, hip-hop, funk, new wave, rock, glam...as long as it isn't shit..all genres contain shit, you just have to be careful where you step), movies (horror, action, and comedy), cars (faster the better, with a real solid look), cigs (not menthol, though), alcohol (nothing that's on fire), red-heads, goth girls, Bass guitar (epiphone, Gibson, and the 62 Rickenbacker in particular) Dislikes: Pop musicians, country music, school, teachers, girl movies, boredom, people, animals, trend-following-idiots, that thing your mom does in bed, you. |

Murdoc Niccals is the younger of two sons born to Jacob Niccals and his wife before the woman got smart enough to run off, leaving neither Muds nor his brother, Hannibal, with any real memory of her. Jacob, already an alcoholic prone to violence, blamed the boys for their mother's decision to leave. Surely it was because of their two freak sons and not because he took to staying out long hours and knocking her around when she questioned him about it. As the sole parent, he raised the boys with a very 'firm hand' and taught them a number of hard lessons that would shape them for life...though, likely not for the better. Last year, Jacob finally went too far with one of his more physical lessons and broke a number of Murdoc's ribs, chipped and shattered several of the boy's teeth, and cracked his jaw. Hannibal took Murdoc to the hospital and, out of fear of what lay in store for them when they returned home, they allowed the hospital to call the police on their father and have him taken away. Now Murdoc and Han live alone. Hannibal dropped out of school to work and play guardian to his little brother, while Muds works part-time and finishes high school (only because social services won't allow him to drop out). The only upside of being forced to remain in that day-care for oversized idiots is that he's at least trapped with some decent company. Somehow, picking on the same blue-haired kid for three years has led to them being friends...and more than that. With his cunning and Stu's raw talent, they'll have one hell of a band one day. If only his personality didn't keep running off potential guitarists and drummers... ---------------------------------------------------- Canonically, Murdoc is the bassist for the band Gorillaz. He is also more than ten years older than Stu/2D his vocalist and primary punching bag. A good amount has been changed to fit the RP setting and some other things have been assumed or made up to fill the gaping holes in original character background. All with apologies to Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. |
